JACOB AVINU

Jacob is Senior Vice President, Product Portfolio, which operates globally and includes aviation, aerospace, mobility, energy and more. Under Jacob’s leadership, ScoutCam is working along with customers to lead the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) and Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) markets with its visualization and AI platform, providing video sensor-based solutions for critical systems in the aviation, transportation, and energy industries.
Jacob has more than 15 years of development, operations and leadership experience with a variety of industries and organizations, including Elbit Systems, where he led the Helmet Mounted displays and Sensors Advanced Capabilities R&D group of the Aerospace division. Prior to joining Elbit Systems, he served for 6 years in the Israeli Air-Force, where he served as a Computer Vision System Engineer as well as the Commander, Electronic Systems Development Group.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ort Braude College, as well as a Master of Science degree from Ben-Gurion University with a focus on Electro-Optical Engineering. Prior to that, Jacob studies at the Israeli Air-Force Academy, majoring in Practical Engineering, Electronics.
